Why choose Community Fibre Broadband?

Full FTTP

Community Fibre have their own dedicated fibre optic network which is completely separate from the Openreach network that most providers use. Unlike most providers who use a mix of fibre optic and old copper phone wires, Community Fibre broadband is delivered straight into your home using only fibre optic cables (FTTP). This gives you the fastest possible fibre service currently available, perfect for large, busy family homes or student accommodation.

No line rental

Because they do not use the Openreach network, Community Fibre's packages don’t require you to take a landline or pay line rental.

Unlimited data

All Community Fibre packages come with unlimited data, so no need to worry about how much you are using.

Customer service

Community Fibre is rated excellent on Trust Pilot with more than 33,000 reviews, making it one of the UK’s best rated broadband providers.

2020 also saw Community Fibre win Best Consumer ISP at the 22nd annual ISPA Awards.

Their London-based customer support is open seven days a week, 365 days a year from 8am-10pm.

Home phone service available

In January 2021 Community launched their new IP-based (VoIP) Home Phone service to optionally accompany their internet access packages. Make unlimited calls to UK landlines and mobiles for just £10/month.

60 Day Satisfaction Guarantee

If within 60 days, you’re not happy with your Community Fibre connection, you can leave with no strings attached, without incurring any cancellation fees.

What is Community Fibre's Premium WiFi?

Say bye bye to WiFi dead spots with Community Fibre’s Premium WiFi.

Available with their 1Gbps and 3Gbps full fibre packages, Community Fibres Premium WiFi gives you guaranteed WiFi coverage throughout your home. If not - Community Fibre give you three months’ free broadband.

There are caveats of course. Premium WiFi guarantee pays out if they fail to deliver a minimum baseline WiFi speed of 35 Mbps across up to 12 rooms with 5 bedrooms and a maximum of three floors. You may also need an engineer to visit to install and optimise your WiFi, tailoring the position of each router to your home’s specific needs. Community Fibre supply additional Mesh WiFi routers that interlink with one another for superior WiFi performance. In some circumstances, their engineers may have to run Ethernet cables to more than one router. This is to ensure you get a stable WiFi connection in the hard-to-reach areas of your home.

1 Gbps Premium WiFi is £30/month plus the initial £14.95 broadband set up fee.

3 Gbps Premium WiFi is £54/month plus the initial £14.95 broadband set up fee.

Prices will increase each April by the Consumer Price Index published in January + 2.9%.

What router do I get with Community Fibre?

Community Fibre give you a Linksys WiFi 6 router with intelligent Mesh technology as standard with their packages up to 1 Gbps, and a Technicolor multi-gigabit router with their 3 Gbps package.

If your current provider is Virgin Media then you will need to let them know that you're leaving and it's up to you to coordinate the end of one contract and the start of another.

If you're choosing a broadband package and are currently with another provider that uses the Openreach network, then they will do the contacting on your behalf.
