Hyperoptic has rolled out a new Wi-Fi 6-enabled Hyperhub router — bringing faster, smarter home networking to its customers nationwide. The upgraded device replaces older hardware and delivers modern wireless performance alongside robust wired connectivity for homes of all sizes.
The new Zyxel EX3301-based Hyperhub as standard across its full-fibre broadband packages, with existing subscribers able to upgrade when renewing their contracts. The move unifies the router experience and introduces the latest Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology, designed to better handle multiple devices and heavier home networking demands.
Zyxel EX3301
The new Hyperhub brings a host of upgrades over the previous generation hardware. The biggest improvement comes from the move to Wi-Fi 6, the latest widely used Wi-Fi standard. In simple terms, this means:
- Stronger, more stable connections around the home
- Better performance when lots of devices are online at once
- Improved speeds for streaming in 4K, online gaming and video calls
- More efficient handling of smart home gadgets
The router works on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands and is designed to automatically manage devices so everything runs smoothly in busy households.
We’re excited to introduce this new Zyxel router, which represents our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible broadband experience for our customers. With the latest technology and enhanced security features, the router is designed to meet the evolving demands of today’s connected homes
