Sky is combining four of the world’s biggest streaming platforms into a single TV subscription, giving viewers one place to access some of the most popular entertainment services.
Sky has announced plans to bring Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max and Hayu together within a single TV subscription for UK customers, marking what the company describes as a “world-first” streaming bundle. The move aims to simplify the increasingly crowded streaming market by letting viewers access multiple major platforms through one package and a single bill.
This marks a new era for Sky and NOW. In a world-first, we’re bringing together Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max and Hayu into a single Sky TV subscription. Nowhere else offers this breadth of incredible entertainment in a fully integrated experience, with everything customers love watching side by side so viewers can jump from show to show with ease.
The combined offer will form part of Sky’s Ultimate TV package, which includes Sky’s own entertainment channels alongside the streaming apps. The bundle is expected to cost from around £24 per month for new customers, giving access to Sky TV, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max and Hayu in one place.
Disney+ will begin joining the bundle from March, while HBO Max launches in the UK on 26 March and will also be integrated into Sky’s platform. Reality streaming service Hayu is expected to follow later in the year, with the full library arriving by July.
The bundle will typically include the ad-supported versions of the streaming services, although customers will be able to upgrade to higher tiers if they want additional features such as ad-free viewing or higher picture quality.
For existing Sky customers, the change should largely be additive. Depending on their current TV package and device — such as Sky Stream, Sky Glass or Sky Q — the new streaming services will be added to eligible plans alongside Sky’s existing content offering.
The move reflects a broader shift in the streaming market, where providers are increasingly looking to simplify subscriptions as households juggle multiple platforms. By bringing several of the biggest services together in one interface, Sky hopes to make it easier for viewers to discover and watch content without switching between multiple apps.
While the new bundle already includes some of the most popular streaming brands, Sky says the goal is to create a single entertainment hub that combines live TV, on-demand content and streaming services in one place.
