Hyperoptic unveil new Nokia Hyperhub router

Exclusive to Hyperoptic in the UK, the Nokia Hyperhub promises to be their best ever router for a faster and stronger connection.

The Nokia Hyperhub is available free of charge to new customers taking Ultrafast (500Mb) or Hyperfast (1GB) broadband deals from Hyperoptic. Customers taking 50Mb or 150Mb packages will continue to receive the ZTE Hyperhub.

Hub Features

The router's features include:

• 3x3 802.11ac WiFi antenna setup
• 1 x Gigabit WAN port
• 4 x Gigabit LAN ports
• 2 x USB 2.0 ports
• 1 x RJ-11 FXS VoIP port
• Mesh technology support

As well as featuring 4x4 MIMO antennas on the 5GHz band, automatic band steering means it will detect newer 5GHz capable devices to ensure customers receive the best speed possible wherever they are in the home. It also automatically adjusts to the best WiFi channel to avoid interference.

The new Hyperhub is a welcome addition to Hyperoptic's hardware and a much stronger piece of kit. Although it may be disappointing for customers on slower packages that it is not yet available to.
